For more than 16 years, I suffered from disordered eating. I went from starving myself to bingeing and finally emotional eating. I used food as a coping mechanism. Food was my 'go-to’ for moments of stress, lack of energy, simple boredom, and low self-esteem.

More about my own history of eating disorders & passion for the work I do!
I am Sabine, an ex-cookie monster, anorexic teenager, and binge eating adult. I have experienced it all; from starving to overeating. The reason? Emotional eating. Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or just simply bored caused me to overeat or not eat at all!
Balance? What is that? Between the age of 14 and 30, I could not eat in moderation. I lost weight. I gained weight. It was an endless weight yo-yoing cycle and I had never heard of nutrients! For years, my diet consisted of cookies, chocolate, and chips that I used for energy rushes or rewards after stressful days.
On the outside, I looked OK. On the inside, I was suffering. It was a mental war zone. All those years, the voice in my head told me that I was a failure, too big, and ugly. I was constantly worrying about my weight, beating myself up mentally, and feeling guilty after eating.
My interest in nutrition and the real solution to my distorted eating came in 2013 when my father passed away due to cancer and I realised that cookies were not the healthiest diet to be on. I left my corporate career in marketing for prestige fragrances and found my love for working with clients as a health coach!
Since 2015, I have been a certified holistic health coach, specialised in emotional eating and hormonal health. When I started coaching, I soon realised that sugar cravings were often the first obstacle in healing emotional eating. This is why I created the 10-day Sugar Rehab program, which is included in the Set Yourself Free from Emotional Eating program.
Ironically, this ex-cookie monster became known on Swiss television as the ‘No Sugar Coach’. After having coached clients world-wide, my heart still jumps with joy every time a client tells me to feel energised and ‘at home’ in their body!
This is why I LOVE what I do and was definitely worth the long journey to find solutions for emotional eating! It pains me so much to see the most beautiful people not seeing their own beauty and value! That is why I care so much about helping them realise how incredible they are – then eating becomes an act out of LOVE for their beautiful body!
